This policy explains how AlderSignal, Inc. handles information in AlderYou, including optional WHOOP data and Fitbit or Pixel Watch data connected through Google Health.
We process account and profile details, goals, preferences, voluntary check-ins, feedback, private photos, wardrobe details, and actions you record. When you connect a supported tracker, we request only the permission categories shown on that provider’s consent screen.
For WHOOP, AlderYou can read recovery scores, sleep duration, physiological-cycle day strain, and recent workout summaries after you grant access on WHOOP’s consent screen. The offline permission lets AlderYou refresh that connection without asking you to sign in for every synchronization. AlderYou does not receive or store your WHOOP password.
WHOOP’s public developer API uses “cycle” to mean a sleep-to-sleep physiological cycle. It does not currently provide menstrual-cycle records to AlderYou. We do not describe physiological-cycle data as menstrual data.
For Fitbit and Pixel Watch, AlderYou can read activity and fitness summaries, sleep summaries, and workout sessions through the Google Health API after you grant access. AlderYou does not receive or store your Google or Fitbit password.
We use permitted summaries only to make workout demand, recovery timing, and outfit-practicality guidance more relevant. We do not use tracker data for advertising, credit, employment, insurance, medical diagnosis, or judgments about attractiveness.
This feature is off by default and requires a separate, explicit permission. If you enable it, AlderYou stores up to 90 days of only the structured phase, symptoms, pain level, energy level, optional flow, and check-in date you choose to enter. Older cycle check-ins are removed automatically. We do not infer menstruation from gender, photos, or tracker data.
You separately choose whether the check-in appears on Today and whether permitted recovery and sleep summaries may be used as supporting context. The feature provides conservative general wellness education. It does not diagnose, treat, predict fertility or pregnancy, or provide contraception advice.
You can revoke this permission at any time. Revocation turns the feature off and deletes every saved cycle check-in from AlderYou.
Authorization tokens are encrypted at rest. AlderYou stores normalized daily planning summaries rather than a permanent copy of every raw tracker event. You can choose a 7-, 30-, or 90-day summary-retention period in Connected Health. Data is encrypted in transit, and member records are separated by authenticated account.
AI processing is off until you allow it in Coaching preferences. Selected goals, ordinary confirmed memories, wardrobe descriptions, and your planning request pass through our Cloudflare job queue to an AlderSignal-operated Mac Studio for inference. A separate choice allows limited training and recovery context. We do not send raw tracker records or cycle check-ins to this coaching model.
Garment recognition requires permission for each photo request. It processes a small copy of that wardrobe image and suggests editable tags. Body progress photos are excluded. You confirm proposals before they change your saved plan or garment details.
Queued processing inputs expire after 24 hours if work cannot finish. Completed inputs are cleared from the AI queue; unreviewed proposals expire after seven days. Operational job records can remain for up to 30 days. Your saved plans, confirmed garment details, and activity history remain in your account until removed under your account controls or a verified deletion request.
Background planning and automatic weekly reviews are optional and can be turned off. Turning off AI processing stops new coaching requests and cancels pending coaching proposals. Cancellation requests retry after service outages; an inference already in progress may finish, but its canceled result cannot be saved. Accepted plans remain in your workspace. It prepares your private workspace while you are away; this release does not send customer email or push notifications. Paid checkout, when enabled, uses Stripe to handle payment details and subscription management.
AlderYou’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data or transfer it for advertising.
Revoking access in your WHOOP or Google account also stops future imports. Disconnecting WHOOP in AlderYou calls WHOOP’s revocation endpoint before deleting AlderYou’s encrypted token and imported summaries. Disconnecting does not change records a provider independently retains under its own policy.
We use infrastructure and communication providers only to operate, secure, and support AlderYou. Access is limited to what is necessary for those services. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.
